Great Yarns: I'm on the Road Again!

A little knitting shop about 30 minutes from Denver is going to host me and on Friday, May 30! Yippee, I get another chance to talk "shop" with other knitting enthusiasts, maybe sell a few books and knit for a few uninterrupted hours .... what more could I ask for?

RMCHEC -- come on by and say hi

Please join us down in Colorado Springs on June 6 and 7 for the 9th annual

RMCHEC, this year organized by the Colorado Springs Catholic home-educators, has a wonderful schedule of speakers and events for the two-day conference. Bishop Sheridan will celebrate Mass on Friday morning and a wonderful banquet on Friday evening.

I'll be speaking on "Handcrafts in the Homeschool" on Saturday afternoon as well as running a table selling living books from Hillside Education, Cay Gibson and others (and yes, my book -- Great Yarns for the Close-Knit Family -- will be available too!)

Stop on by and say hi!

Greetings and welcome

Dear Folks!
Thanks so much for stopping by this blog ... what I envision is a site where you can come and ask questions, make comments or other suggestions and I can facilitate your attempts at creating a "close-knit family".
I'll post pictures of all the projects so you can see them in color. I will also do tutorials for any of the projects for which you might be having problems or questions.

Please let me know what YOU would like to see on this blog -- just leave a comment attached to any post and I'll try my best to accommodate you.
Oh, and if you haven't yet gotten your own copy of Great Yarns for the Close-Knit Family, you can order it directly from the publisher, Hillside Education, or from Amazon.

Happy knittin' and let's play!
